RMA REQUESTS

POLICY & EXPECTATIONS

RMA requests must be submitted to MDT Technical Support by calling our toll free number at +1 855-638-6384 with the selection option of 1 – Product Returns.

  • Customer must issue Purchase Order (PO) for authorizing $250 fee for the RMA. This will cover the cost to return the product back to MDT, and labor involved in doing the RMA assessment
  • Email will be sent to the customer with instructions on returning the product to MDT.
  • Customers have 30 days to ship the item(s) to MDT before the RMA becomes expired.
  • In the event that the RMA expires, MDT will automatically close it without notification.
  • These expectations are for ALL return types (Repair/Certification & Credit)
  • Materials identified to be covered under warranty will require an MDT assessment through the above steps prior to any replacement / credits to be issued.

BASIC RETURN TYPES

  • CREDIT

    • When MDT recieves the material, we will complete an RMA Assessment. The assessment will validate material quantity and condition for the credit to be approved and issued.

    • Depending on the reason for the return and the length since the original sale, a re-stocking fee of 20% may apply and be deducted out of the credit issued.

  • REPAIR

    • When MDT recieves the material, we will complete an RMA Assessment. The assessment will then allow us to develop a repair quote. This will be sent to the customer to authorize under the original PO that was issued for the return. This quote will include total repair costs & estimated freight.

    • Customer have 30 days to provide an updated PO that covers the repair costs and estimated freight.

    • Customers that fail to provide an updated PO within 30 days, may be charged the $250 assessment fee and have the material scrapped.
